[4.2 x 2.7 x 1"] This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape.

[5/8" Stud] This by far is the best stand I own for studio work. It's a strong, well crafted stand. Brass where it needs to be and nuts and bolts on the legs instead of rivets. I have no worries putting my large softboxes and strobes on these. I feel confident using these stands. I will be buying a couple of the 10 footers soon too. I highly recommend!

[1] I use the System 10 for my acoustic guitar , electric guitar as well as vocal mics and instrument mics . I use the System 10 for on stage use and for studio recording . I get clear signals with no cut-outs and awesome sound ! With a great price point ! Sincerely , Derek

[0.13 lb] Right up front...I am NOT an audio professional, nor even particularly an audiophile. I do not have sophisticated playback equipment. That said, I am a professional symphonic musician with more than a half century of experience. To my ears, on my equipment, these sound a little biased towards the high end, but they are sturdily built, well balanced one-to-the-other, and not particularly fussy about exact placement. I find them more than adequate, and far more than I expected for this sort of money. The shock-mounts, windshields, and hard case are welcome extras. In short, knowing what I know now, I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

[5.5 x 5 x 0.3"] PolarPro Brass Step-up Rings are some of the best step-up rings made. Being fabricated of brass makes it much easier to change the ring when necessary, much easier than aluminum. Great product!

[Orchestral] The Synchron interface is SO much easier to use (than the former Vienna Symphonic Instruments plugin). Sound quality and playability are impeccable.
