[2000 TB] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seagate has a stellar reputation for performance and reliability in their products. This FireCuda is no exception. If you are using it for the PS5, installation is literally as easy as 1-2-3. It took under a minute to install, and then after rebooting, it will ask you to format which takes less than a minute, and then go into storage options and choose which games you want to use with it. Done! It doesn't get much simpler than that. This has an included heatsink with it, so that was a major plus, and it has worked very well so far. This has truly elevated our gaming experience with the superior performance it gives, and I recommend it to anyone looking into storage options for their gaming device. It is mainly used for laptops, Valve Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally, or whatever handheld gaming device you currently use that it is compatible with. Some people even use it in their gaming pc's. It is backward compatible with Gen3 and Gen2 PCIe slots. Seagate also includes a complimentary 1 time data recovery service, which could come in very handy! We have been using this for 3 weeks now with no issues. The games are loading exceptionally fast, and we have plenty of storage to last us for the life of the Playstation. I couldn't be happier with it and totally recommend it!

[6.1 x 5.4 x 1"] Excellent addition to PS5. If you have PlayStation Plus, you should get this. I have it and I have downloaded tons of great games from the library. However, the memory that comes with PS5 runs short soon if you have more than 4 or 5 games. I got 2TB FireCuda 530 and it has given me ample room to have my favorite games installed and readily available for playing.


Also, I'd like to mention B&H, they have great service and go head on against the national companies. I found a better price here than at the national brands, soon Best Buy and Amazon followed B&H competitive prices. They also ship fast and free all the way to Texas!

[0.145 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took me a little to sum up the courage to open my work computer and install but I did and boy o boy did it make a difference! It actually sped up my operating speed by quite a bit (I'm not a pro at this so I am not sure of how to give exact upload or download stats). I will most likely never EVER use 2TB of space but it's great to have it and not need it versus need it and not have it,as they say.

This opened up a Pandora's box of fearless drive in me to try out new "installs" on my technology. Watch out Bill Gates here I come!

No issues getting everything working on the first try despite the fact I don’t usually install the upgrades in our home. He noticed a difference immediately in boot up time and performance. Nothing bad to say.

[0.145 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I’m not much of a gamer, but I do a lot of design work, and also stream a lot on my ASUS Viviobook. My laptop came with 1TB and my computer guy was like you really want to switch the SSD. Of course I said yes. I haven’t noticed any lagging when computer was powered back on. Opening programs are fast and even downloading movies from streaming services is quick. This 520N is marketed for gaming on small devices that are strictly for gaming, but this SSD is very beneficial if you do a lot of high performance things on your smaller and ultra thin laptops. Price seems high, but you’re getting 2TB and I think Seagate priced their product fairly.

[0.145 lb] I'm using it together with HYPER HyperDrive USB4 NVMe SSD Enclosure and it works super fast!
Now I can work on my video projects directly on remote drive and not even noticing the difference!

[2000 TB] Got the SSD a week ago. Was super great full to finally be able to hold more than 6 or 7 games on my PS5 lol. I got the 2tb SSD, and I think that is plenty of storage for the money, especially if you can get it at a discounted price like I did.

[2000 TB] Works great in a PS5. Read speed turned out a little slower than I was expecting after install but still above what is required for the PS5. Overall, great purchase!

[2000 TB] Upgraded from FireCuda 530 over a year ago and my Flight Simulator, partnered with ASUS ROG X670 Extreme, AMD R9 7950X and ASUS RTX4090, is blazing fast. The lag went completely away. I also eliminated the RAID and use only the 540 which I think helped the simulators, MSFS2020 and DCS. Started with 520's and they have been trouble free. FireCudas are in all my new computers. Seagate HDDs are my backup and storage drives. My next gamer will have next gen FireCudas.
